Autumn

So.. its Mid-August..
Which marks the end of another busy semester..
I did a lot this sem actually :D helped people with designs while being busy doing my own schoolwork.
Damn hectic -__- but it was fun..
Unfortunely I'd be taking my final next sem... SIGH!
Independent Design Production...
which we're suppose to make one uber big project within the 3 1/2 months.. still unsure of what to make ~_~
Needs to have the 5 elements of multimedia in it...

Arghh~ I can feel the pressure.. ahaha
But for time being i shall relax myself.. :)

Its Autumn/Fall ... so there's a bunch of new melodramatic/romance anime out..

1 - Tari Tari (タリタリ)

'Tari Tari' is an interesting anime.. that revolves around the story of 5 high school students, each with a different family background, lifestyle and future dreams. The story is mainly about how they all created a choir club in school, so there's a lot of singing. Though, in the end their club ended up becoming a multipurpose club, where they try their best to reach their goals together.

I love the Soundtrack in this anime. :D

2 - Natsuyuki Rendezvous (夏雪ランデブー)



The plot is quite simple, this guy (Ryosuke) fell in love with a florist (Rokka) and was too scared to confess to her, instead he went by her shop to buy flowers from her everyday. Till one day Rokka posted a part-time worker vacancy, which Ryosuke immediately took up.
However, when Ryosuke started working there he sees Rokka's dead-Husband, who isn't gonna let Ryosuke have a chance with his wife. So its fun to watch AHAHA

This was actually a very famous Romance Manga.. and the anime isn't bad either :) ahahaha I'm actually hoping for them to make it into a Live Drama~ like they did for "Paradise Kiss " ahaha

3 - Sword Art Online



The plot in this anime is simple, a new virtual reality online game was released 'Sword Art Online (SAO)' when the game was first created and was undergoing Beta Testing only 1,000 players were allowed to test it. When the game full release, only 10,000 copies of the game was produced. The game was an instant hit and everyone who could get their hands on the game got it. When they entered the game and started out the first few levels, the 10,000 eventually found that there was no Logout button on their menu.



By evening, everyone was teleported to the Beginner town square where the GameMaster appeared and told them, that being unable to logout is part of the game's main mechanics and there is no way to leave the game. If by any chance their virtual helmet is removed, they'd have their brains fried, if they die in game, they will die in real life. (then he shows them a bunch of news reports of it already happening) and the only way out is to fight their way up to the final boss starting from the bottom floor (Beginning Level) all the way up the dungeon floors to the top level (100th Floor)..

Okay, so this is an anime about a virtual reality game where the players are stuck in and cant get out.. Similar to .Hack//Sign storyline.. and since that was my favorite childhood anime.

Lets Go On A Joyride!

Wooow~~ Well its been heck of a awesome week~ :) ahahax~

So first off,
we have a new Lecturer for Multimedia course.

Polly, Welcome To SEGi College :D

She rocks~ and is a whole lot better lecturer than the previous one.
My friends in Graphics Design are wishing they could retake their previous subject to learn from this lecturer.
ahahahax~ I wish to do the same as well..
or maybe i'll just attend her lectures when my Juniors have her class :S


First; I have electronic publishing.
Which is mainly about Magazine Publishing.
Thats the class my friends in GD wants to retake! ROFL
Anyway, that class;
I was.. the only senior in that class :S
but its fun to hang out with the juniors.. ahahhax~


then tuesday; we learnt about basic HTML coding.
Which of course, is quite simple. I mean i do own a blog with HTML and CSS coding all over it. :S
ahahaahax!
But it was fun :D~
I can feel my brain finally receiving some new and actually learning useful info.
Taught by a lecturer and not Youtube :S
Yay! good lecturer = no more youtube tutorial @.@
uhh~ yeahh~ but i'm curious how the assignments lined up are gonna be like..



anyway!
had Photography class.
Went to Waterfront to take photos, of anything and everything.
kinda fun.. tho the heat was abit too much.
But still its funnn~ XD ahahahax I'm lovin my DSLR more n more~


then thurs; learnt about ActionScript ( Flash Coding ) that was a complete blur.
Comparing ActionScript vs. HTML. I prefer HTML cos it seems more...
Uhmm.. American? LOL! wat with codes like "img src" (Image Source) is easier to read than..
MouseX=X++... wth is that?! Algebra? LOL!

So yeahh~ afternoon.
Was suppose to be a class to teach us After Effects but due to technical problems.
we ended up learning about photoshop.
LOL! I always photoshop stuff...
and her methods make wat I did last time seem too time consuming.
So I'm thankful. and at the same time, remembered how awesome it feels to use photoshop.
Since I havent touched that program in like Ages~~~

Gouf~!
It was one of the best Zeon Mobile Suit back in the first original Gundam series.
I think it was the first of many mobile suits that can counter the Gundams.

So yeah! it looks wicked awesome, and its cheap! :D so cant wait for that~

erm, i went to watch "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" previous week with the gang
surprisingly met my Junior there :S ahahax
watched the same movie , whatsmore he and his group sat right infront of me o.O!
anyway!
the movie! not bad for a prelude of a classic movie.
Original Planet Of The Apes was release back in the 60s. and then remade by
(One Of My Idol)
Tim Burton
(He directed, Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and and other weird movies)
back in 2002.
but this lastest Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes is the prelude to the original back in the 60s.
mehh! anyway! searched, there're remaking the old one, so it can be an actual sequel to this latest one. Its quite a nice movie~
I mean as compared to the other crappy movies that's been released this year. xD
me gives it 8/10 :D
so yeah! check it out! I mean if there's gonna be a sequel.
Its better to watch from the first movie.

All I've been doing lately was online, and joke around with my friends :S
hmm~~~ Oh classes started last week~
but it wasnt that fun. almost ALL my classes was canceled due to not having a lecturer
lame! uh~ but still had Photography class~
that was fun. ahahax!
hmmm.. yeahh~
nothing much happened..

So... lets talk anime.

No.6

First off, This anime released this year! and had only been showing for the last 2 months
ahahax it's only reached episode7 and I'm already loving it!

Its about a futuristic world, where people live behind civilizations within walls. As they were taught that the outside world is already dead and as long as you live within the walls you are safe. There were a total of 6 cities, and of course the story takes place at the 6th city called; No.6. ahahahax! lame i know. but then the story is nice. So anyway spoiler, just as any other show that has a UTOPIA city, the government of the city kills or brainwash their citizens if they were to oppose them or even say one bad word of the government. woo~
The 2 main characters are;
Nezumi (he wants to destroy the city, cos its teaching lies, also "Nezumi" means Rat in Japanese) The other character is
Shion (He was about to be 'reformed' for doubting the city, and saved by Nezumi; now an exiled from the city; but he still wants to save the people in it.)

So yeah! very nice anime, its a supernatural type anime, with a bit of action; tho i think it'd appeal to gals more than guys. ahahax! but still its nice :\
Reason why I think it'd appeal to girl more?
1. There's Cross-dressing 2. Love-Triangle 3. Cute characters.
LOL! but overall i find this anime nice;
And as far as 2011 is concerned, this is the best anime this year.
I guess after the Tsunami; Japan doesnt have much left in them to release anything better.
hmmm~~ 8.9/10!


Next up; We have an older anime.
Ga Rei Zero
Will You Kill Someone You Love, Because Of Love?


So this anime is really nice as well!
Its about Exorcists working in this world, to stop evil who as they say;
"Spread The Taint Of Death" rofl! but yeah!
It revolves around 2 female main characters; and a group of subcharacters.
the 2 main are;
Yomi ( long haired girl, elite exorcist)
Kagura ( short haired girl, pushed and trained to be an exorcist to take on her family name )
uhhmm~ i dunno how to say the story without giving any spoilers.
So I'll just rate it;
9.4/10
These 2 were complete strangers, who became best friends, sisters.
But one thing led to another, tragedy strikes and tadah! you have a great anime.
This anime was actully based of its Manga, as a prelude to the story in the manga.
but i dont read mangas, so I'm glad its a prelude with an ending :D

The start of this post is rather nerdy or boring to some, please skip through till you see purple words, if you're against giant robots.

("Char Aznable (The Red Comet) Ace Pilot of the Republic Of Zeon and later, Leader of the Neo Zeon movement" Antagonist/Protagonist Of The Gundam Series)

So last week.. hmm..
nothing much happen really, i just stayed at home and watched.
MS Igloo and MS Igloo: Apocalypse.
Its an OVA series from the Mobile Suit Gundam series.


Tho this 2 OVA has nothing much on the suits themselves.
But the story of the soldiers that participated in the war
and the experimental weapons they tested
It isnt looking at the Earth Federation ("good guys") angle,
but the Principality Of Zeon (bad guys?) angle.
Actually watching these OVAs will make everyone understand why the Principality wanted to revolt in the first place.
The Earth Fed. are such asses~ :\ ahahax!

Overall Presentation, Storyline and 3D design, even the Character background and design makes me give this OVA a 8.9/10! its really awesome!
there's only 3 episodes for each of its OVAs

Also about Gundam, 3weeks ago Ric showed me the 2ne1 fan cam, tv? (or watever) on youtube
its where the kpop group 2ne1 takes video of themselves and their video-shoot,
preparation, performance, backstage scenes and some introduction to their lives.
Turns out that

(She's the youngest in the group)
actually collects gundam models, her fav model among her collection is her...

Master Gundam
she said its perfect! :\ LOL! so obviously me n ric has been joking around with Feng as maybe someday he'd be able to date her, bwahaha~ xD funny stuff.
But damn! I can really picture the both of them together :d

SO ANYWAY!

I went to kuching food fair last thursday night!
with Jing, Feng, Ric, Junyong, Timothy & Soon.
Despite having History Of Arts exam the next day, we didnt hesitate at having fun. whoops!
ahahahax! It was nice to hang out with the gang la~ tho i'm getting more and more broke each day :(
but then! oh well~ I still have enough to last wakaka :x
so yeah! food fair, messed around, talked about random stuff, joked about random stuff
after that wasted time at Open Air, then went back home~
the following morning studied my History Of Arts, couldnt get anything into my head.
oh well~ went for exam and hoped for the best.
And turns out the exam was easier than expected
So i should be able to pass this time around. xD
After that went to HKT with Ric n Feng, cos Ric wanted to buy his Bearguy model
It was his first model so good for him~ xD its damn cute too!


Hmm.. thats pretty much it...
Skipped youth service cos i wasnt feeling well,
went to church tis Sunday afternoon..
Hmmmm, yeahhh~ nothing much to say~

My sis down in England~ Zianne (Xi'an) Intro-ed me a Jrock group.
They be called
Zwei


Zwei is basically made up of Megumi Ueno (born on May 24, 1980) on bass
and Ayumu (born on March 30, 1978) on vocals.
Yup! mainly just 2 gals,(altho at times they look really really alot like guys O.O!)
thats why they call themselves "Zwei", which means 2 in German :D

Zianne first introed me their song; Dragon , which is like WOW nice!
then i went on and listen to their other songs, all really amazing.

They arent a new group and are not famous.
I dont know why, maybe Japanese dont support Female bands much :(
But i still love them :D
So check it out! they aint hard rock like the Visual Kei bands i listen to,
But they're awesome enough :)
