My bro came back yesterday~

He got me a new 1TB Hard disk drive~ Yay~

and also~ I got myself a new Samsung Galaxy Express.

Its sufficient enough since I dont really use my phone much anyway. hah~

So didn't do much yesterday..

Today went to Logos Hope~

The floating book fair. LOL

the ship was wayyyyy hugeeeee, and all the foreigners volunteering in there were all friendly,

It sort of made me want to join them even more

(( See, the last couple of days I was looking through all the options I have for my future, but since even I cant be certain on which way would be the best way to go, I looked into a bunch of random things and thought of the best possible outcome of each options. joining Logos was one of those choices, i mean 1 - 2 years spent travelling from country to country to help the needy and living on a ship seems pretty intense and fun in its own way))

Soo yeahhh, I dont know what to do anymore..

sigh.. life use to be soo much simpler..

How I wish I could just grab a knife and stab my heart out..

cos' seriously, some of this 'living a life' thing just isnt worth the hassle..

mehh~ anyway enough about me..

after visiting le big book fair ship~

went to catch The Wolverine at MBO. 

It was.. bittersweet really..

Well the movie was great~ ( a lil disappointed that they didnt follow the cartoon series, but mehh still good)

though one thing sorta annoyed me was how the main actress had some resemblances to my ex-gf .

Aside from that~ the movie was excellent.

The Silver Samurai (the villain) was not what i expected really.

But damn it looked cool, either that or its just cos I loveee Japanese stuff :\

mehh!

cant wait for the next x-men movie now~

cant really give a proper review on this, since I'm quite an x-men fan. LOL! so yeahh..

Pacific Rim

Yesterday night~ 

went to catch Pacific Rim at the cinema with the usual group 

-1 person (he was busy dating with his gf *cough*)

Anyway! the movie was... okay.. lol 

Here's a low down on the movie~ Its a tribute to the classic Toku films japanese movies.

Ultraman and Godzilla. which is why the Kaiju (giant monsters) in this movie resembled the classic Ultraman monster and of course Godzilla.

Here you see the resemblance of the classic Ultraman Kaiju and the new Pacific Rim Kaiju.
or you can simply refer them as Granpa Kaijus and their grand childrens.

Its basically the same storyline as those classic movies/series. 

Giant monsters entering earth through a dimensional portal to destroy/reform the earth.

and the humans fight back with Giant robots.. Its like power rangers and ultraman all over again..

But with better graphics and 3D effects~

I'm not gonna hate, cos when I was young I liked the classic power ranger series. ("Power Rangers" as in the first season of the series, the ones with the dinosaur robots, not the new shitty acting power rangers they have now).

As a movie though.. Pacific Rim disappoints me. Oh sure they recreated the movie in full cool animation.. 

But when you dont classify it under 'Giant Monster' movies, you'd put it as a giant robot movie.

Which in this case, if you were to compare the movie to;  Real Steel , Transformers and/or Battleship. This movie just doesnt reach the limit set by those movies.

As a giant monster movie its good~
But that's only cos there hasn't been a good one since the King Kong remake. But overall the movie was still good enough.. I mean back in the 90s movies like Godzilla never had great storyline either. I can see that they really tried to implement a storyline into pacific rim, but it just felt soo Power Ranger -ish , that just cant help but feel sort of ripped off.

That aside, the acting is good enough.. They had Rinko Kikuchi as the main female heroine, so that's a plus. She maybe 30+ year old, but she's still a good looking actress. The male lead is, Charlie Hunman. He fitted the role of Pacific Rim's lead row really well... since the main character is a marine head. Which of course means it doesnt require much acting skill.. aha.. 

For Storyline~ the whole Transformers history is basically more reformed and well-made, compared to that of the classic Godzilla movies and of course Pacific Rim now. The storyline could've been a lot better if they included more logical stuff into it.

This was the main disappointment for me, the storyline was just not as well defined as the movie now. At the end of it all I just felt like I just came out from watching a boxing match. All that was shown was fighting. If the fighting had a good story background like Real Steel, it would've been more interesting for me.  but no, it was just pure action.. Keeping true to the Kaiju style movie, like Ultraman~ endless giants fighting each other. 

Overall I rate the movie: 7/10

Because in the end its still a 3D animated movie, even if the storyline is lacking.

For me a a movie that doesnt require the use of the brain is a downpoint, though I know some people would view it as a plus side. To each their own opinion. 

Its still a movie with great graphics, great camera angles, epic soundtrack. So what it lacks, it makes up for with good animations. aha

I have a few friends who found this movie epic though. I guess its different depending on what kind of series you watch when you were growing up. The ones that liked this movie alot i found were the Kamen Rider and Ultraman fans. So overall, I guess the movie didn't fail as much as it disappointed me.

I might have enjoyed it better if I was a Godzilla fan. 

But since I'm not.. *disappointed* 

Still check it out if you likey giant robots, giant aliens, cool animation, japanese chick or muscular hunks.

 And that's all I have to review for the movie.

I went to watch Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 2.

The other day with my friends. It was really nice! :)

I just simply love the Jasper and Alice coupling.. I wish I could have relationship like them :\

uhmm yeahh.. hmm.. I also gotta say,

Bella/Kristen Steward is definitely more attractive as a blood craving, super strong, red-eyed, sparkle-in-the-sun vampire than a human being.. hehehe

The movie to me personally, is a great ending to the saga.

even Aro the head of the Volturi was cool. 

yeah... the epicly stupid "no danger here" face. ahahaha

I LOL when I saw his face like this..

Overall I liked everything, 

It wasnt GREAT but it was Good enough. :)

I love all the different vampires and their abilities in this one too..

Jack Frost 

and the evil is the Boogeyman known as, Pitch Black !!!

So I dont normally watch cartoon unless they really catch my eye..

this did.. and I didnt regret watching it, Pitch Black is just an awesome villain :D

and i likey the script they wrote for him :)

stuff like;

"That dream is over. It time for fear to rule the world"

So yeah... a master of darkness who turns dreams into nightmares, and hopes into fears.

definitely an awesome villain :D

and I can totally relate to Pitch. always feeling like an outcast :(

no one believes in him, unwanted to the point where all he feels in hatred.

Such anger and depression definitely does bring a person to wanting to make the world fear them.

Of course good always win against evil... but hey, its still a nice movie.

SHIAWASE!

This week has been an "awesome" week~ 

lol hanged out with Callie almost the entire week. 

Doing the damn impossible to do proposal of our final assignment.

Actually, we've been doing it for like 2 weeks plus.. 

means constantly eating out D: my money!

and also.. random stuff like going to the cineplex and going kbox.

but all of that and the, McD Burgers, McFlurries, Pizza, Cheesebaked Rice, Nasi Lemak, Sushi, etc. etc. consumed within those 2 weeks were all entirely for stress relieve~~  

its like burning money D: but worth it. :X

Worse for Callie since she bought a new Domo tissue box. 

& paid for some of my meals, cos she's an awesome friend! 

& cos she was grateful for the help i provided~ aww :D

So anyway! Watched The Looper... not bad... 

psychic abilities and time-travel... 

is enough to make my brain think about the movie more than assignment. :D

6/10 cos.. it isnt that nice overall.. ahaha

and surprisingly my bestie actually likes an anime enough to watch with me. 

Since normally she doesnt watch animes.. hmm~ Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun
Though I'll admit, its the cutest romance anime this year :) 

Also tried the McD new Mcflurry! Milo Supreme Mcflurry~
mmmmm~ definitely worth the price.

Though, only if you're a coffee or milo fan only.

Oh and since i helped me out with most of her assignment, ii asked her to be my driver to run random errands. like, buying movie tickets and delivering stuff. ngehehehe! great friends like these are hard to find~ really. :)  

Although the first time through, passing up assignment, 

everyone in the class had their proposal rejected. 

and the second time through, 

everyone was overall emotional and over stressed.

Thursday, passed up my proposal and hope that the lect wont send it back to us again. We all hanged out at the art museum to see their design work / exhibition. Since end of next month / beginning of december, we'll be having ours as well.. D: 
joked around with friends and lecturer 
and then finally ended the stress of assignments. :) 

So the whole; up, down, left, right, driving round town, 

going to museum for art exhibition, etc. etc. was actually sorta fun.

And also i got to get Taylor Swift's RED album
which is hugeeee PLUS to my stressful mood at the time.
and I love every single song on the album! :D 

I also got to meet up with Pric throughout the entire chaos.. and even got myself into helping her in her assignment -__- in exchange for free meal, and going to a horror movie with me, yesterday (friday).

....

Friday~ went out with Ric, Shey and Pric for a horror movie...
SILENT HILL: REVELATION *squeals!*

Ahaha before that~~ 

pric was the one that picked me up at around 4:30..

loads of cars and rain and traffic jam~
and my mum forced me to use an umbrella :| 

We went walking around spring, scouting for a place to dine in~ 

ended up at the food court too.. western food again..

....

Anyway! after watching Pric torture her food to be edible by her, 

We walked around and then went up to MBO to meet Ric & Shey 

hmmm~~ so so~ Its no secret that I'm a fan of silent hill.
tho the game still scares me o.O

The movie not soo much.. ahaha! but damn, i love the storyline. 

And of course, Pyramid head 
& now my new love, Mannequin Monster! :D

yay~ pric said the spider reminded her of my drawings o.O 

Ric agreed too that it looked like my artwork too ~__~ 

I should keep in mind to go apply for a job at Konami.

Maybe I'll be able to start my own horror story series.:') that'd be awesome!....

Overall, it was a great day yesterday~

after the movie, pric had her own plan for the night,
So for convenience, I hanged out with shey n ric instead.

So walked around spring,

then headed to McD for ice-cream...
but the machine was broken!  SAD!

....
Overall it was fun :) although,
hearing something I'd rather not know is sorta depressing~

But I'm glad I know now.
(referring to the bat-shit-crazy bitch my last post was about)

....

And with that I was completely prepared for my exam this morning.

Yes I only had 4hours of study,
but its enough for me to know I'll pass..

I'm like..
A Sim! having a good mood effects my studies/job performance!

ahahah! thats pretty much it, another exam for tomorrow.

Hopefully i'll pass. then I'd only have my final to be worried about :)

hmm I just watched

ROCK OF AGES (2012)

and I can say that is by far one of my favorite musical now!

First off, rock music is awesome~

~WE BUILT THIS CITY ON ROCK AND ROLL~

secondly, russell brand is funny~ and tom cruise singing rock songs is epic~

thirdly, i love and know all the songs in the movie of which i ended up singing along to.

fourthly, it sparked back the poet in me to write! :D

it is an amazing movie, if u like music, partying, cool outfits, tom cruise as a rockstar, or just enjoy watching a fun relaxing movie then its a great movie.

She's Haruka Kudo, one of the newer/youngest member (age:13) of the group Morning Musume and I find her adorable. AS IN, If i were to have a daughter some day. I'd want her to be just as adorable as tis girl~

It's a female group that's been going on for the past 11generations
(with members age from 13 - 24)

Winners of the morning musume singing competition would join the group. 

and those older generations would ''graduate'' and be their own artist
(in other words i guess they get promoted and start their own group)

I actually admire how they're all such good dancers o.O even at a young age. 

and the fact that they're all from different age group but are able to cooperate and mix so well.. hmm..

Very often I feel that I was born into the wrong century. Simply because I still believe in true love and romance like that and my love for art.. Since in this modern world, Art and romance is easily overlooked.. Sad really.. :\

So... anyway my blog has been super duper emotional.. cos i've been super duper emotional... I'm feeling better now tho. Spent the last few days watching romance movies.. Surprisingly they help more than causing more pain.. ahaha :)

The Notebook (2004)
"I have a crush on your mind, I fell for your personality and your looks are just a big bonus"
This movie isn't that new, and its actually my 2nd time watching it. But I still love it. True love cant break 2 people apart :) I just love the whole setting in this story. And although the usual poor guy falling for rich girl, romeo and juliet story is really common now. Each one always have its own unique-ness and this one has one of the best. The Notebook, one of my favorite romance.

Because I Said So (2007)
" I love that you have this insane way of talking in circles that makes perfect sense."
I like this storyline to be honest, ahaha.. cos the girl ended up with an artistic guy :D hahas. IMDb Sypnosis of the story: A meddling single mother tries to set her daughter up with the right man so her kid won't follow in her footsteps.
And that's pretty much it. :) the whole story goes pretty lovely..

The Last Song (2010)

I love this movie, its very sweet.. and its the movie that made me love~ Miley Cyrus. She's awesome in this movie.. I love the soundtrack, the storyline and everything. Okay, I guess anything by Nicholas Sparks is amazing :) in books and in movies.

Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011)
"The key to a successful marriage is to find those qualities that make you fall in love with your spouse again every day"
This movie is rather silly, but still a good movie to watch. Its about how a girl who tries to get her parents to not divorce while endangering her own marriage in the process. Its okay, but probably better to watch with a partner rather than alone.
But of course if you're a fan of Mandy Moore or Kellan Lutz, you'd love it.

Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)
"The war between the sexes is over. We won the second women started doing pole dancing for exercise. "
This one is similar to "Love, Wedding, Marriage" in a way.
But still completely different, its about a guy who is about to get separated with his wife. While a bunch of things happen, starting with him getting into a bar complaining about his wife and eventually meeting a guy who teach him how to hook up with womens at the bar. Its a fun movie to watch, funny and overall I like the connection of all the characters.

Take Me Home Tonight (2011)
Okay, this story is a little more typical. Its 4 years after graduation and old schoolmates having a Labor Day party as a reunion, where the main character Matt tries to tell his high school crush how he feels about her, with a bunch of lies cos' he thinks he isn't good enough for her.
Typical story :) fill in the blanks yourself. but its still quite a nice movie.

Prom (2011)

Teenage Disney Movie!! :) This is worth watching!
The song u're hearing in my blog now. is from this movie! ahaha.. Its good. A little typical, but thats how disney is. Its about how everyone in school react and change differently when its nearing the graduation day. And how prom is the big event where everyone who probably never even speak to each other can get together and have a final day at school with one another. and if find the main actress: Aimee Teegarden, pretty good in this movie. :D

Beastly (2011)

My friend told me that this movie sucked cos it wasn't as good as the book and that twilight movie was better. okay, taking that into consideration. I watched the movie, and found the movie actually is quite nice. Probably cos' I never read the book but its still nice, its more romantic than twilight. If you dont know, the story is basically a Beauty and The Beast story. How a popular and handsome guy was cursed to look ugly until he finds someone who can love him beyond outer looks and see inner beauty instead. :) And Vanessa Hudgens wasnt tat bad in this movie.

Monte Carlo (2011)
"I finally meet a guy who likes me for me. And I'm not even me."
This movie is nice, it gave me the whole princess diary feel to it.. I guess its due to the whole european and rich theme to the whole story. Its good, its more a teenage movie than pure romance. but worth watching :)

And I'd like to add that I never liked Selena Gomez, and the reason I watch this movie was cos of Leighton Meester.. But after watching is movie, I find Selena not that bad. I guess I only disliked her due to Justin Bieber. ahaha.. mehh~

Still a good movie :) the typical being an imposter of a superstar story but with a little bit of family drama and you have a pretty solid storyline.

Okay, I gotta say, this is an amazing story :)
I love everything about this.. Its just nice to watch.. another movie to leave me speechless. The story is about how a married couple got into a car accident and the girl lose her memory. And the guy tries as best he could to make her fall in love with him again..
I loved this movie~

There's a danger

Its decided that after studies i'm going to KL to work and eventually move to Japan. Its no longer a dream or a vision or a goal.. ITS A FACT :)

I miss Ayuko. I admit that.. and i know i admit it alot.But its the truth. No one I've met in this world was as strong as she was..Or at least no one I know lived as cheerful and pure as she did..Moving to Japan was always been my goal..I've always wanted to go there..

So.. no i'm not going because i met her. I'm going because.. I believe that there's something more for me there.A future there.. what meeting her would make me do tho.. is donate to cancer charity..heh.. tho i'm not sure how much charity actually helps the needy..Its something I might do in the future..

The future.. a scary thought it is..
I've always thought I could have a bright future..But the journey towards it is really dull.. I'm tired, i need a big push.. or something.. anything.. Like a million dollar cheque, so i dont need to spend the 2years in KL and insta-migrate to Japan. lol..

I need the fresh start... I need that reset button.. :) and hopefully my plan is that button for me.And HOPEFULLY it wont set off a bomb in my life :|

There'll also be of course COSPLAY! even the GM.Bibi from Garena is gonna go there in her cosplay ._.

Arghh~ i wanna go.. T__T Anime fan.. but cant go.. sad case..

Dr.Seuss The Lorax

Last night well.. tis morning 2am. i couldnt sleep.. So I watched one of the movie i downloaded, Dr.Seuss The Lorax.Its a cute movie with great storyline.. :) I also like the quote from Dr.Seuss at the end..

"UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

I love that quote.. cos its really true... people nowadays simply dont care about anything anymore. Me included. ahaha its sad .__. but i loved the movie.. its meaningful enough. And it gave me a 2nd fav quote by Dr.Seuss.. The first one of course being;

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."


Dont ever change who you are no matter what.. You're perfect... everyone is :)
